Dance Waves

Dance Waves are for a free-form dance practice. They start off slow, developing in intensity to a peak, and ease down into stillness.

There are many structures and style of dance wave. ‘Ecstatic Dance’ usually uses a dance wave, but there are other practices such as 5Rhythms (copyrighted), ‘conscious dance’. Each format may have it’s own specific elements, structure or restrictions. 

Most of my dance waves follow the Asheville Movement Collective format. The structure is noted on the post.
